Anežka (Agnes) Kašpárková is a local woman from the village of Louka, Czech Republic, who loves to paint houses, intending to make her hometown a charming and popular place, decorating windows and doors with beautiful floral patterns.
Another proof that age is just a number!
Agnes, a former agricultural worker, undertook the hobby of another woman in the village who had been doing the same thing for years. Using vibrant blue paint and a small brush, she creates intricate floral patterns inspired by traditional artwork from the region of Moravia, southern Czech Republic. Grandma Agnes, who has gained viral recognition, considers herself an artist and wants to help locals who want a beautiful home. She does a different kind of street art. It is proof that age is just a number when it comes to creativity and art.
Agnes does not plan her designs, preferring to paint straight from the imagination, and her art is distinguished by the ultramarine blue paint, which looks incredibly contrasting with the white walls of the houses. Agnes chooses good quality paint every time to ensure her work will last for years.
People say that the woman manages to bring to her village a gram of individuality, warmth and love. Agnes does not receive money for her work and does not even consider herself an artist, although she spends many hours a day working on her works appreciated by everyone.
Asked why she chose to paint, Agnes answers simply and convincingly: “I only do what I like. I’m trying to decorate the world a little bit. ” The old woman became a small star on the internet, the images with her paintings being viewed and appreciated by people from all over the world.
